Namaste Shower Gel Refill
97% of ingredients of natural origin
Did you know that the shower gels we, human beings, use on Earth often contain less than 20% active ingredients? The rest is water, and a plastic bottle that ends up in the trash (and to date, only 9% of the plastic produced worldwide is recycled...).
To avoid this, some particularly advanced civilizations in neighbouring galaxies have started thinking of it differently: why not concentrate this essential 20 % in solid tablets that can be dissolved in water, at home, in an endlessly refillable glass bottle?
Meet the Merci Handy Infusing Shower Gel: with its luxurious foam, its scents from outer space and its magical effervescent tablets, this shower gel, already quite famous in the rest of the universe, is finally coming to Earth!
Namaste: the scent that's sweeter than your mom's hugs, revealing a neroli flower wrapped in cottony musks.
Refills are also available in 2 other scents: Hello Sunshine and Unicorn Edition.

frequently asked questions
How many showers does a refill last?
About 22 showers! 🚿
Does it contain any sulfates?
No, it doesn't: our shower gel is guaranteed sulfate-free!
Sulfates or "sulfated surfactants" are detergents, and they have been increasingly criticized because of their irritating effects. Seeing as how you use your shower gel daily, just imagine the impact on your skin! Sulfates also increase blackheads, which will lead to an overproduction of sebum on your skin. The bottom line is that here, at Merci Handy, we say yes to foam but not at the cost of our skin! 🧼
Is the shower gel hypoallergenic?
We cannot guarantee that our shower gel won’t cause any allergic reaction at all, as it contains perfume (and therefore allergens). However, our tablets have been carefully formulated to minimize risks of allergies.
What is the main active ingredient in this shower gel?
Inulin, which is a mix of sugars extracted from chicory roots, is known to gently cleanse, moisturize and protect the skin. It is also a prebiotic that helps restore your skin's balance by stimulating skin flora (bacteria that are beneficial to the skin).
How should I clean the bottle to reuse it?
You can either use the eco, glass or delicate wash setting on your dishwasher (to protect your bottle), or wash your bottle by hand with soap and warm water. Let it dry upside down.
Is this product suitable for children?
Yes, it is suitable for children over the age of 6. However, our magic tablets must still be used under adult supervision.
Is the shower gel suitable for pregnant women?
Our shower gel has no contraindications for pregnant women.
How to store the shower gel?
Once opened, our tablets can be stored in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. Our infusing shower gel contains two preservatives (Potassium sorbate and Sodium Benzoate) to ensure good conservation during these 6 months.
Can the glass bottle be used over and over again?
The glass bottle can be used over and over again, and the pump about 4,000 times - just make sure you clean them up properly once the bottle is empty.
If your pump ever wears out, don't worry, we sell spare ones too!"
Is glass greener than plastic?
It all depends on the point of view :) The recycling rate of glass is much higher than that of plastic (75% vs 21%). Moreover, glass can be recycled endlessly, which improves its carbon footprint year after year. It is also returnable, which makes its carbon impact even lower. In addition to its 100% mineral origin, glass is completely inert, which makes it a safe choice for consumers’ health.
Plastic is definitely less energy-consuming when it comes to manufacturing and transport (as it is less heavy), but it is made from a nonrenewable resource: oil.
For our shower gel, we’ve decided to go for a glass bottle because it can be used over and over again, which is cool - both for you and for the planet!"
